Cambria quartz

Do people use quartz for bathroom vanity? I like the new quay and the brewyn but now I'm doubting myself, reading all the comments it's sounds like it never looks the sample !! I'm also trying to decide light or dark floors !! Picture attached, I'm taking out corner tub and putting in a freestanding tub.. thinking that I should paint the walls white!! Thoughts?

Cambrian sells the large samples. Sorry, can't tell what size you have.
I have Darlington in my kitchen. Was as expected. Looked at so many photos online, Plus we saw the slab at the fabricators. Wasn't my first choice, but my husband picked it.
I do have a less expensive builder grade quartz bathroom counter.

    Sorry submitted too soon.
I only had a 4x4 sample of bathroom counter. It doesn't look as I imagined. We changed it on impulse which is never a good thing...

Is there a place in your area where you can go look at slabs? Really helpful. Btw I saw the berwyn when I went and it's really nice. In my opinion much better than the sample

This is off topic but I can’t see a free standing tub in that space , have you thought of the logistics of cleaning around and behind it

Quartz, virtually any brand will look exactly as the sample. Seeing a LARGE piece can change the way you feel about that given sample size. That means you want to see a full slab, if at all possible, or even a large remnant of one you are considering before you decide. Whether light or dark on the floor, if you are using a porcelain there or in a shower, sample a FULL BOX first. The range in tones can be great, and select it before you select your tops. Never look at tops unless you have that box WITH you: ) .....

I too am curious as to how you are squeezing a free standing tub in that corner.......

"Quartz, virtually any brand will look exactly as the sample."

It depends. The quartz with lots of "movement" and those prone to resin pooling may look like a sample if the sample is 3'x3', not 1'x1'. Even medium particulates can vary from a small sample. If you're really fussy, you'd better look at a full slab.

Hi Joseph. Confused. I asked about how to get an oxidation stain (from a cold wet pot) out of my quartz countertop

Hi, robinl1. Cambria is stain resistant. Common household items such as coffee, tea and wine will not be absorbed, however surface stains can be stubborn to get out if present for an extended period of time. Customer Care will be emailing you a list of approved cleaners that can be used to remove the stain. Please feel free to call Customer Care at 952-873-5099 if you have further questions. We're here to help.

Hi Robinl1, thank you for your comment about quartz. After sending a technician out to your home, we have confirmed it was not a Cambria design.
