Adding height to a kitchen chair

I bought counter height chairs to go around my kitchen island (which we use as a table) and the chair seats are 24" high. It turns out they are too short to use comfortably at the counter. I like the chairs and so I'm trying to figure out a way to make these work rather than buying something new. Ideally, I'd like to add 2-3" to the bottom of the chair legs. Is this even possible? If so, what kind of professional would I call to handle this type of job? I wonder if some type of brushed nickel leg riser or something like that exists and would work. Anyone have any thought about this? Thanks!!
