living room lighting

We are wanting to purchase a light stick floor lamp for our living room. I think we understand well enough the color temperature options so we are thinking 2800K v 4100K but we can't figure out whether we are better with a 6 light versus 10 light stick. Any guidance is appreciated.

Buy a few LED strips with the same output (lumens), perhaps from the selection of inexpensive undercabinet lighting at the local home center, in the range of color temperatures you are considering. Try them out in your living room, then decide. The light stick could be a design statement in your room or a fairly unobtrusive thing, much depends on your own room.
