Hi! I'm not sure how to answer your question, but these are the Alex filing cabinets with a kitchen countertop (both from IKEA). My own desk at home has a similar setup, with Helmer drawers and a countertop, and it works great as a desk for me! You may need a chair that sits a little lower than a dining chair height for best compatibility with this desk configuration. Hope this helps!
