What is the black material in your substrate, please? It looks like pieces of wood charcoal.

Hi Tyler! Yes! It's wood charcoal, in my country it's often used in orchids and Adenium, as a fungicide, and helps the medium to dry quickly, it's not processed charcoal, it's natural wood chunks, sorry my English, I don't know if is understandable haha!

Great collection you have there Cynthia and I imagine your climate is more than favourable for adeniums, what kind of weather and temps do you get on your part of the world?

You may like at some time to pinch out the tips of the longest branches in order to fatten up the lower growths and caudex, or even prune them back lower down to put more strength into the bases. Just a thought...maybe because My own plants are the shorter, fatter ones, as they certainly don't grow as fast as yours have done, my climate is abysmal at times:-(

I like the look of your original plant, its very sculptural. Hope you get lots more flowers this season.

Yes, I'll prune them, it's a little rainy here these days that why I'm waiting to do it, our lowest temperatures usually are between 10-15C in winter so yes, my climate it's very kind to Adeniums, I really really hope that my first Adenium blooms, I have 2or 3 months of heat to see it, fingers crossed:)
