My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The range hood is a ProLine - "Professional" wall hood. The dishwasher-safe baffle filters are great.

      Subee-what are your thoughts about appliances? Should they all be the same brand? We are not professional chefs so no real requirements. Thanks.

      Appliances do not at all need to be the same brand -- unless you like them all and are getting bundle pricing. A good appliance store/salesperson can help you pick the right /best appliances for your needs and budget. Also, I found the appliance forums on Gardenweb to be very helpful.
