I am looking to build a small built in desk along a 9' wall with a 26" deep by 30" tall counter. The adjacent wall has a window that begins 18" from the wall that I wish to put the desk against. The bottom of the window is 24" from the floor. This will prevent me from running the top of the desk to the wall as it will overlap the window opening.

I am looking for suggestions on transitioning the top of the desk so it is not blocking the window opening.

I can stop short of the window opening by a foot and have a 45 degree angle cut in the top but I think that may look like I'm trying to just make it work.
