My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    I would recommend you either Live Home 3D for Mac or Live Interior 3D for Windows, both apps are affordable and intuitive in use. Check out the introductory video, or download trial to full around with the app.

    Room Planner is offered as both a Free and Purchasable app that you can use on your Mobile Devices to create great floor layouts and interior designs. One advantage of this tool is that you can share your designs with professionals who use the full-fledged Chief Architect Professional software and create finalized blueprints, materials take-offs, and photo-realistic images to build your final design.



    Chief Architect also offers a suite of software for the DIY market at a lower price point under the Home Designer brand that is also easy to use and compatible with the full professional version.
