Is this a male only cultivar? One guy stated that this is a male only cultivar and missouribotanicalgarden doesnt' have "fruits:showy" in their list. But other sites state that females produce berry-like fruits. I'm confused, can I get arils from this yew if I get it??
Was originally listed as a varietal (Taxus cuspidata var. capitata) and at least one source includes it as a "group" rather than a distinct cultivar, meaning more than a single clone grown under that name. It is one yew cultivar that comes true from seed and can be either male or female.
