Hi Sharon. I really like oak that is black. I find it looks really sharp. In addition you have the mirror and taps to dark. It will look good. Up here in Canada black is becoming more and more popular for such things. I have done a fair bit of black door and window frame trim. It does look good. It is all about personal preference. Some will love it and some will not. Being your vanity top is not white but rather an off-white I would prefer black as I am not really into two different whites on top of one another. Just my thoughts.

Black would be awesome - agree with Palace above.

black is good. use BM Advance paint. When they tint it black, have them put in a few extra squirts of the black tint. Their blackest black (on the chip) isn't black enough. I had my paint guy add extra squirts.
