My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

shower pan

does anyone have any suggestions for a shower pan. most seem to be acrylic with fiberglass and wasn't sure whether they can stay clean vs a cast iron which I would prefer not to use due to weight. is there a brand that is better

    I would recommend consulting with a plumber for the pros and cons. We use lead shower pans in New York city apartment buildings, with a tile finish. There is usually a heavy duty waterproof and sound barrier underneath.
