Find a fabric you love then choose your wall color. Definitely need some softness a valance could provide and some extra pop as far as color. Maybe a simple drape by the glass door. But you have a great start. My first thought is a fabric with a country French feel that has red in it then choose your wall color out of that fabric. I usually go with the least used color in the fabric in order to highlight the other colors.
