Bar grating?

Where did you source the bar grating? Is it comfortable for dogs and bare feet?

That is known as Bar Grating, and you'd want to use either a close mesh or a press-locked version. The material is Alum. and we specified this from McNichols. There are many widths and styles of gap and grate direction. Comfort is very personal and I'd suggest trying to walk on a sample. This grate material is not particularly great for very narrow high heels, though it is suitable for most foot traffic uses.

Thank you kshepard29 for your interest in Bar Grating and John Lum for mentioning McNICHOLS. We do offer a wide selection, including Welded, Swage-Locked, Press-Locked and other styles. Close Mesh Grating has close bar spacings and a flush surface, making it a comfortable walking surface. We would be happy to answer any questions regarding this or our other "Hole Products." Good luck to you!
