Sheers and curtains different heights

What is the consensus about this? My sheers are 84" my curtains either 94 or 100 something, don't remember. The sheers are just above the moulding on the patio door and the curtains on a rod a few inches above. I have high ceilings so I was thinking of hanging the curtains much higher than they are, which is doable, but the sheers will only be able to stay where they are. Will I have to just get new sheers?

Yes, please get new sheers so that they are the same length as the curtains.

Yes, regardless of fabric, all the curtains need to be the same length.
