Living Room Coffee Table Dilemma!

I've attached a picture of our updated sofa and rug in our living room. The pic shows our current table...which is brown with a glass top, similar end tables. I'm not sure if I should keep the current tables or update to a solid wood or a glass/metal table. Need suggestions please!!

Ignore the animal print in bottom corner ... that's our old chair.

This is one I liked, not sure if its too flashy...
We plan to have gold accents with the teal.

I've attached one pic with the wall mirror we have (which has matte gold )

Your rug is so lovely! I hate to see it "smashed" with the flat to floor style table. I love the idea of gold...but agree with Brandi that you could use some round edges.

...think the second pic is the wrong scale. But I do love a table that can maneuver on wheels!
