My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
My neighbors continue to feed the squirrels and now there is several families digging through my yard. I went out to fix my fence today as the snow has finally melted enough for me to get around in my yard and found all 32 plantings of garlic I put in back in November have been dug up and partially eaten. Does anyone know the law for trapping and killing pest squirrels on your property? It isn't hard to do so I would rather do it myself over having to call in some company.
The law varies from state to state, but here in Vermont gray squirrels can be hunted from Sept. 1 – Dec. 31, with a daily limit of 4. So you could get yourself a 22 and have some good eating! As far as trapping and killing, I have no idea, but I expect it might be illegal.
Perhaps if the squirrels decide to nest in your neighbors' home and chew through some wiring, they may see the error of their ways.
If you can create an epidemic of Jack Russell Terriers or rat terriers in your yard, your squirrel problem will be over in a week or two. They never tire and will bring in three dozen a day if they can find them.
We moved to the country last summer, and our aging city cat literally wiped out the rat and mouse population in the general area. She's working on lizards now, although I would rather she stop.
I wonder if your neighbor could be apprised of the fact the squirrels are doing so much damage in your yard? Who knows, maybe she would stop feeding them. It's not like she won't get squirrels in her yard without feeding them.
