Beautiful house, needlesing. Its hard to tell the color of the brick - is it tan or red ? Also can you make a shot further away to show more of the front. how big are the flower beds where the evergreens are ?

Please define "update". Adding shutters to the upper windows adds character & personality!

Yes dormers would be cool. This photo shows painted brick, dormers and shutters.

I thought about shutters. I hadn't really thought of dormers, but that is a good idea. The brick is more of tan than a red. I will post a better picture tomorrow. I love the suggestions already.

Love the style of your house and the lot looks large with tons of potential. Not sure what part of the country you're in. May want to consider lawn reduction in the front and replace with layers of groundcover, shrubs and perennials that make a beautiful garden as a foreground to your home. May want to hire a certified arborist to structurally prune the large trees that frame your house. Great setting. Would love to see the backyard - looks expansive! Good luck!

Stain or redo roof to dark grey or black.
Repave driveway and line with boarder plants and flowers.
Remove bushes, plant juniper in place...good bug deterrent.
Use redwood or rubber mulch to seal and define plantings.

Your home is extremely beautiful. Just needs contrast. Maybe rich colored door?
