Inspired LED?

Since this company has been recommended so highly, especially for their help/design services, I went on line and submitted a design request with lighting plan. I've heard nothing from them in 11 days. With the submittal, I had to acknowledge that I understood I would be helped on a "first come, first served" basis, so I knew there would be a wait. For those of you who used their on-line design assistance, how long was your wait for a response? Did you get an acknowledgement that your request had been received?

Also be prepared to wait for, and pay for, several electrician re-visits when what Inspired LED ships you doesn't work as designed... It gets expensive when, in the ordering process, you thought you were saving money instead.

It's possible that they've grown too big too fast and aren't keeping up service as they used to. I say this as a former customer of theirs.

We had a good experience with them the end of 2016. Received a reply with a design within a couple of days of our original email. Extremely responsive with all our questions as well. Our lights were installed early January, & we are very pleased.

My experience was the same as Wags. I heard back within a few days. I exchanged about six emails with my designer over about 3 weeks tweaking the design. He also encouraged me to call him with questions. No issues and happy with their product. Electrician had no problem either. We ordered in October 2016.

Ditto wags and lisa: we found them to be very responsive in 2015. Why not just pick up the phone and give them a call? At the very least, they'd be able to provide status. Good luck.

I had the same thing happen this past summer - for some reason their response went into my spam filter - they had actually responded w/in a day or two. Just give them a call, I'm sure they'll help. Or if you'd like, pm me and I can give you the direct email from the rep I dealt with at the time.

Our electrician had no problem installing the strips and getting everything working well with the transformer and dimmer.

We also had a quick response. A few weeks later we called and reported that some of our set-up wasn't sticking to the underside of the cabinet as well as it should be. They promptly sent two new kinds of stickies to solve the problem. Maybe your email got lost in the shuffle? Went to spam? I'd try again.

Oh, suzanne! We had the exact same problem with our strips not adhering (actually, you could see that the 'paper liner' was already separating from the bottom of the LED strip itself, even before installation). I just figured we'd deal with it -- DH will tack them up somehow.

javiwa - call them. They'll send you new and better stickies. They were very nice about it on the phone.

I had no problems with them (02/15), but I did not use their design services, did my own install, and only used stickies for temporary positioning before screwing them down.

That's good advice re: the stickies, Errant. We did our own installation, too, but were total newbs, having no clue how many of what to buy and put where, what gizmo connected to which doo-hicky, etc. Their staff walked us through everything: we sent them a pdf of our kitchen space, and they returned a mockup with all lighting strips, connectors, wires -- to include pricing for each item.

Suzanne: yes, they've always been very helpful by phone, too.

I was in contact with them via phone last week and they got back to me right away when I emailed them (direct email versus on-line form). Then I didn't hear anything for a few days and called again. My email had gone into spam and they have been very responsive since. I'd give them a call, very nice over the phone and looking forward to ordering their product.
