My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What color is the deck painted or is it stain?

    The deck is material is Mahogany with a penetrating stain by Penofin.

    Flavin - that is not Mahogany Decking it looks like Meranti or Merbau from SE Asia - no one is stocking True Mahogany Decking in the greater Boston area at this time. Maybe soon but for now you have to go to Toronto to get True Mahogany - check out the website www.greenworldlumber.com they have a Houzz page as well
