Looking into buying a new house

I'm looking into buying a different house and I'm trying to get ideas on buying something that is already finished versus buying something that needs to be fixed.

In the attached photo, does anyone know a rough price for exterior remodel? I mean changing architecture such as creating a craftsman look.

Find something you like that's ready to move in to. It will cost a whole lot more to redo or fix up a home than to buy one already done.

The cost varies wildly, depending on exactly where you are. Even in a specific market the prices vary by city/suburbs/rural, etc.

There's no way for anyone to tell you that info.

And if you want a craftsman house, buy one. Do not buy a garrison colonial and think you have any chance of turning it into a craftsman. The pitch of the roof alone is completely wrong.

That house will never be a craftsman unless you rip it down and build one . I agree keep looking.
