Natural light in bathroom.

I tore off all the wallpaper and bead board in my bathroom and now have a dilemma about what to do with this window. It's the only source of natural light (it leads to an interior hallway). Do I cover it over with drywall and deal with turning the lights on forever because it's off center and there's NO way to center it as there's venting and electrical behind the rest of the wall. Or do I just put up with its poor placement. Not sure why I wanted it in the first place or why we put it there but I do enjoy the natural light in the day time. We are putting board and we batten style moldings up now and just installed a new shower.

Wow that's a tough decision. I wouldn't want to part with the only window either. If you are going to keep it, I'd make it look like I wanted it. I'd frame it out nicely. Maybe if the light were two sconces it would look less off balance. Is the toilet to the right of the vanity behind the shower?

No behind the shower are built in shelves where I hide everything! The toilet is to the left against the wall as you walk in. I have settled on Board and batten wall moldings now about 5 feet high. I am unsure if I should
Tile a section behind the vanity. The window is staying. I will just do drywall corners around it to minimize it.

You could put a mirror the width of the vanity. It can bridge the wainscot and wall. I'd stick to one wall finish.

I don't have any windows in my bathroom and had one of those solatube skylights put in. Amazing how it works. I don't even have to turn on the light during the day. It's the round black looking thing that looks like a light. You could then close up your window.
