This is kind of a silly question, but I'm asking it anyway. I've noticed a switch lately from Benjamin Moore being the dominant paint brand among the decorating crowd, including decor related mail catalogs, to now Sherwin Williams being the more prominent brand. Is there a specific reason for that? Several blogs that I've read over the years used to be exclusively Benjamin Moore specific, especially Maria Killam. But now I'm seeing Sherwin Williams referenced and Benjamin Moore is not even mentioned. Makes me wonder why.

I might ought to pose this question in the paint forum, but I'd rather have the views of the interior decor and design people that tend to gather in this group.
