thanks Kim...I am so glad you love Chalk Paint® decorative paints by Annie Sloan..you can do so much with the paint. Ok now for this piece.yes I used Paris Gray underneath- in the areas that I wanted to distress or rub back as some call it. the final color is graphite which is not a black as you can see but a slate to dark gray color. I then used clear wax and then dark wax. What colors have you used as yet?

can you explain how to do the colors? I know you mentioned the colors above but can you give me a step by step as this is my first time. thanks,
