My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Interior designer fee

What percentage of my budget should I expect my TOTAL interior design fees to be at? For example if my budget it $30k what percentage of that can I expect to pay for an interior designer - 10%, 15%, 20%? Designer is just starting own firm, never worked for another firm. I am receiving quotes for my project and want to make sure what I am seeing is within norm. Thanks for any input!
