New mango leaves curled

I've noticed that some of my new mango leaves are curled/bent and cant figure out why. Feeding them Fox farm Big Bloom every other watering at half the recommendations for now. My ph was close to 7 after i got back from month of vacation. I brought it down to around 5.5. I read on several site's saying it should be around 5.5. What level do you keep your ph around?
