I do not think that wall needs a console table. Just art is fine.

Not once you add the rug. You could try adding a side table for the chair.

Maybe I should get an even bigger map? Or place it higher on the wall? I'm open to all sorts of suggestions.

I don't know if I have the space to stack suitcases and things like that if you can see the space is kind of narrow. Also - I don't want it to feel too much like a "theme"... I want any sort of theme to be very understated.

Yes- i mentioned in my post we are going to paint the walls. I want a creamy white... or like a beige.

I like the idea about the drum next to the chair! i don't know if i like exactly a drum, but i think a circular side table would look great as you show n that mock up!

I also like the idea of the more round floor lamp... good call.

I like the maps and I understand why you've "joined" them together, but I think they would be better if you left 3" between them.

I agree that the console table isn't needed once you add the rug. What decoenthusiaste suggested above is a great idea. Adding a bit of space between the maps will give them more presence on the wall. I also like Beverly's suggestions.
