Also ideas for furniture this is being replaced

What a lovely space and how exciting to have a beach house! Colour is not my thing but what I notice in the photos is the need to some anchors in such a large room. I'm not sure if rugs are great at the beach but I think a larger rug under the dining room table and possible rug to define the living room would better define the space.
Or chunkier furniture overall to fill the space.
I have a question - I love the extra thick counter on the island. Do you know the colour or material? It's really stunning.

I think to keep with the beachy theme

Do you have a Home Goods near your homes? They usually have lots of Beach theme items. For a center piece, look for a themed floral, placemats & napkins. Art work and sculptures. Palm & shell prints.

We have sandy beaches so rugs are just dirt catchers. We just usual a Swivel Sweeper from Bed Bath & Beyond, and mop when necessary.
