Hi gypsy - I'm out off Highway 4 - they just shut down Ebbett's Pass from Nov through May every year - too much snow to deal with :-) . It's where you get those great pics of walls of snow. North of me by quite a bit, I might see snow tomorrow, just hunker down and don't go anywhere when that happens. I'm off a "not county maintained" dirt road (not a private rd) - no snow removal here.

Hmmm, the only part of Hwy 4 that I'm used to , from long ago, is the part that runs through Antioch, Brentwood, etc. We don't always have snow crossing over to Medford, so it's just an occasional inconvenience. Had enough driving in snow the couple of years spent in Iowa...Washington, we had a lot of black ice. Here we're only worried lately with the possibility of the entire coast dropping into the ocean (Cascadia Fault), or sliding off piece by piece, or sinkholes...LOL

I'm technically below snow line (2500 ft) but other than the last few years I'd get perhaps 4 storms that would leave snow stick around for a few days to a week. If this one sticks, it'll be the first one this season. Fun to sit inside sipping coffee looking out over the whiteout. I'm from New England though, so won't ever live again somewhere that you have to shovel out of your house and shovel out your car every single day!

hahahaha...funny that you just posted this...we have snow from here up through Gold Beach, not sure about farther North on Hwy 1...only hail so far in my yard. The pic is posted from Gold Beach...

Yep, all of us "occasional dusting" folks have our cameras out :-)
