I have some old latex flowers and large leaves that are still beautiful, but stiff. How do I restore them or soften them?

Latex flowers often look more realistic than silk flowers when they are new. But unlike silk, they dry out.

I experimented with putting some oil on one of the blooms. It's too soon to know if that helped or hurt.

Any other ideas? A humidifier? Leather conditioner? Anything?
