Yes shaker vs. raised is personal preference. I don't know much about the Shiloh brand, but assume if it is comparable to Kraftmade that it is a pretty good cabinet line. We have installed many Kraftmade kitchens over the years and never really saw many problems with them.

That's the low end spec version for both lines. Not a fan of either. Upgraded, in the full semi custom version of either, either is a decent mid grade choice.

Live, if I am not mistaken, the Vantage is the upgraded version of Kraftmaid. shilo is the upgraded version of Aspect.

jmho. Raised panel tends to look a bit more dated. Aspect by Shiloh is better than Kraftmaid.

I have Shiloh and looked at Kraftmaid.

I think door style is personal preference. Look through photos on Houzz to see which you prefer. All kitchens will look dated in a few years, just a fact of life.

Not sure about the specific lines from each company you mentioned, but I chose KraftMaid over Shiloh.
