Charles Austin

alameda/zone 8/East Texas

Got this one last fall, it is potted up and coming out beautifully and has a bud about to open. I can not find very much information about this rose - size, reblooming, etc. Can anyone comment? I love the color - but want to make sure I will not plant where it becomes a monster and has to be moved later on. Thanks!

Well HMF says 5 to 10 feet, lol! How's that for a very nebulous answer. My Austins tend to get big, and in your zone they'll probably get even bigger, so I give them lots of space or some kind of support if I want them to get tall. Decide if you want it to be a big shrub or semi tall climber and go from there.
