This doesn't really look like petal blight. The collapsed flowers lack the spots and brown discoloration usually seen. Flower collapse also took place too rapidly and effected too many blossoms all at once for petal blight. This really looks like lack of water or the results of sub-freezing temperatures. The second is probably not something that happened in your area (and nearby azaleas were not damaged), so we are left with the first possibility as the most likely.

Good mornin! I believe lack of water is the correct answer. Just looked out front door and this azaleas petals are all perked up again. I'll be giving them a good soak this morning. Rain is also coming tomorrow.
