Looking for flooring ideas for my kitchen

I was wondering if this would be a good idea for a kitchen floor? I like the idea that it is soft, quiet and warm, but how do you care for it? Is it easy to keep clean? Thank you.

Cork tiles like those show above are soft and comfortable for kitchen use. Kitchens are the most popular locations in the home for cork flooring, followed by bathrooms, children's rooms and basements. Items dropped on these floors almost never break and the textured appearance seems to hide dirt too (so we're told ). Cleaning is easy if you think of these floors like a wood floor which they are. Vacuum or sweep them and then mop with a mild soap and not too much water. Try to stay away from harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. We only recommend the glue-down cork tiles like those shown above for kitchens or any other areas likely to have water spills. These cork tiles will hold up for decades, just maintain the finish for easy cleaning and beautiful appearance.
