i am planning to plant my roof terrace with edible
plants ;
instead of the regular ornamental trees and shrubs for roof containers i would like to use hardy dwarf fruit trees.
my horticultural growing zone is 6b (new york city ) ; i'd like to use apples, pears ,plums,cherries (no citrus trees), self or cross pollinating .

the average planter size i'm working with is 24"w x 30"w x 24"d.
