My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Free Interior Design Services - Thoughts

I am in desperate need of interior design help after a major remodel. I see that a number of retailers (Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen, RH, etc.) offer "free" design consultation services. I'm interested in them, but unlikely I would buy through them (we have PB, RH and Serena & Lily outlets near us). Has anyone used them and can comment on (1) the quality and (2) pressure to buy through them? Thanks very much.
