The matte finish has a different appearance than the polished, I'm not sure if every color seems lighter, you may want to compare samples in person to determine for sure. Hope this helps.

The Suede finish is a matte texture with a uniquely soft touch that offers high-quality color consistency. Polished is the classic finish for Silestone, intensifying the color, clarity and shine of the surface. I would say Suede would have a less intense color than polished. I hope that helps. Mandi @ Dura
