I have new charcoal hardwood flooring going in in my family room and dining room. My kitchen cabinets currently is light maple in colour with a light grey speckled quartz. Eventually, I will be painting the cabinets.

My question is what tiling colour should I use on the floors? Since the hardwood is so dark, I was thinking of a white or off white shiny tile.

Any suggestions?
