What material is this? Tile? Stone veneer?

Love this fireplace! Want to refinish my existing ugly surround to look like this! What is the material? Where can it be sourced? Many thanks!!

Hi Anne
It's a 12x24 porcelain tile that is gray and had a slight texture to it. We set it in straight rows and kept the grout a dark gray to match. This works great for updating /refacing brick fireplaces.

Actually just looked again. The tile pattern was offset with a tight grout line.
