Do you recommend 6 or 8 pound carpet pad? This carpet is going in our basement. We do not have pets, not do we plan on pets in the near future, BUT we do have 2 younger children. We plan on a 3rd child in the next 2 years an this basement is going to be a main used area. Any recommendations in carpet pad or types of carpet???
