It's not really going to matter if you're selling. If you just want to update the look, perhaps think of a soft aqua - sea glass shade.

Shouldn't the wall color be a light neutral color that would not make the almond cabinets look dirty? Is sea glass a color that is used a lot? Thank for responding.

I would do a tone on tone. Find a color in between the almond and bisque...sort of med to med/light shade. Buy a rug with colors you like for the sink area or a runner from Ikea. Or. buy a rug in colors that will go with your local fresh flower options. Have fresh flowers in a nice clear glass vase.
