Seeing this more thorough post makes me think you should bite the bullet and get more substantial drapes that are sized appropriately for the room. The space you're creating is lovely and you want your window treatments to enhance that look. Fixing these will always look a little off imo.

^ this. Try to keep all curtain rods at the same heights in the same large open space, hopefully your window/door trims are all the same trim height.

For your dining-room wall, I would draw from the wall color and cream furniture colors, and find a large canvas print (or set of the same theme, like two large ones side by side, and wide, not long), that contain at least those two colors/hues and perhaps some white/orange/pale green, you'll know what you love upon searching online for ideas - you could choose canvas prints, or framed prints . For a centerpiece, draw from the same colors and textures as you have on your entry table, those are some very nice pieces (they appear champagne and gold from the photos)!

About that size art as well 60 x 40, to coordinate with lighting and table lengths.

You need some interest in this room so I would look for a subtle print on a oatmeal fabric, or a tone on tone. It really depends on your price point. If you got a neutral silk, you could add trim on the leading edge in your Greek key pattern for additional interest.
