Of course the Hoyas I have been waiting to bloom decide to put on a show while I'm away. Good thing my mum was there to snap some pics while she's around watering the garden.

We never get tired of seeing those beautiful blooms! My Krinkle is getting ready to bloom all over the place. (it is a great-great grand daughter of one my mother grew in the 70s-my mom died in '85 so it is special to me)

Got home last night and was thankful to find out i didn't miss them completely.

Dischorensis - lovely strong, buttery perfume

lacunosa - faint perfume. Not bad but not cinnamon as I'd expected.

krinkle 8

krimson queen- deliciously strong chocolate coated marzipan perfume.

red buttons has produced some beautifully marked leavrs under the new shade cloth.
