Most people just say, "Good point debian227, I like that" or "@lindsey, that doesn't work for me at all", etc.

There is no way to reply directly beneath an individual's comment. I kind of like that, because it does a lot to keep people on track and not going off on side conversations or tangents. It also probably really decreases abusive behaviour.

If you go that houzz user's profile and click on green button "contact me" on the upper right hand corner.

A quote feature would be very helpful. Also, on a long thread, is there a way to go directly to your unread posts instead of scrolling endlessly to find them?

Look at your profile pic on mobile or the little bell at the top right of the banner on desktop version. Is there a green dot? Click that icon to see your notifications. That will be your new comments, likes, etc.

I think you can find your unread posts if you click on the bell icon at the top (beside your cart).
