I got a yuzu tree, about 3 feet tall, last year. Planted it in container, watered it moderately, got it some citrus fertilizer, had its back in 3/4 sun. It did well over summer and fall, lots of leaves, new branches. Our Washington DC winter was very warm this year, little snow or freezes, we took it inside only once, for a week. Still, it's lost lots of leaves (started losing them long before the brief visit inside), and doesn't seem to be starting new leaves.

Should I trim it back so it'll be smaller and thus need less energy to recover? Or... what? (I am not exactly what you'd call a green thumb).
