Last April I bought a miracle berry plant and this October it bloomed and produced a bunch of fruit. I saved some of the berries and planted them sometime after the New Year. It took 2-4 weeks to germinate. In early March, 3 of 4 seeds had sprouted. The second picture was taken today. The soil is very moist looking as I just watered them. The pot is pretty deep, but I'll transplant them into those industry planters that are very tall, but not terribly wide. Miracle Berry plants develop long tap roots, but take a long time to get large. I believe it takes several years before they will fruit.

It definitely was fun eating a berry and then experimenting with different foods.
