I have a nice clean remodeled kitchen but on small side.

I would like to have a table or island that will accommodate 4 chairs on occasion.

I live alone but do have friends over and entertain often so a small kitchen table (against the wal) with 3 chairs on the 3 open sides works but I don't really like to keep the 4th chair "pinned" agaist the wall then having to pull out table to use that 4th chair when entertaining.

1. Maybe a drop-leaf or extension table with 2 chairs for everyday use and 2 additional chairs stored in another room?

2. Another idea is moble island with counter height stools that would also increase my work area?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
