To answer your question, these floors are sourced with Russian Birch, manufactured in China, and shipped to our various distribution centers across America. However, all comparably-stained stair treads & risers, stair nosing, and transition pieces are produced here at our main headquarters in Tampa, FL. These accessories (along with any underlayment/glue) ship for free when ordered with your flooring.

Per our Houzz Marketplace policy, unless shipping damage has been cited, there are no returns on our samples. In terms of actual square footage flooring orders, we will accept returns in a situation like the one you described, however, the customer would be responsible for return shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee. The top layer is a European White Oak. The engineered core layers are made from Russian Birch.
