Angle of stove

Is there a reason why you placed the stove there? Is there something behind the wall that kept you from placing the stove elsewhere and instead make a cornered countertop work surface? I ask because I'm trying to redo my kitchen but there is a closet that I don't want to eliminate that is located behind the wall that I wanted to corner off. Does that make sense?
