That's what the realtor said the prospective buyers complaints were... Yellow, yellow everywhere! The entire home's interior was given a fresh coat of paint, in this color.

This home sat on the market empty, for several months with a different realtor. My realtor picked up the listing, and explained to the homeowners home-staging was needed. When my realtor called me, I also saw this as a bit of a challenge, but quickly went to work!

The yellow-ness of the walls seem to fade into the background after staging! The 'wow' of the blue takes over, and you no longer are focused on the yellow! Not saying yellow is bad, just saying it really took over, before!

This is the other angle of this room, it really ended up being pleasant with the furnishings in place! My realtor called me up and explained it sold the weekend after staging! Pretty good for an 'over million' mark property out here! The buyers want to rent it out now, he explains to me - he then asks if the new owners can 'use' the furnishings for another month so that it shows well, in the rental listing! What a compliment! Of course I said 'yes'!

This is the other angle, it's really calming, as staged! The yellow isn't offensive, at all!

Again, the bedroom shows as a big, yellow box...

Staging calms that yellow down! I made the throw for the end of the bed and matching pillows, in the same blue colors - blue and yellow are so calming!

The throw and pillows, simple, a little elegant, and distracting to the eye so you don't focus on the walls!

The last two den-photos, and sorry but I don't have good 'before' shots of this room... but you can tell that yellow is on the walls in this den, too - but it's quickly NOT the focal point with the furnishings in place!

It was a pleasure staging this home, and helping the sellers sell their home quickly, and helping the new buyers find, and see this as their dream home!
