I left my amaryllis outside this winter to brave the elements. They are all unfortunately infested with that nasty red fungus, but I am getting several scapes coming up for the spring this year. At some point I will have to dig them all up and see about treating them for the fungus. the ones in the pool, I picked up from someone - so no idea what they are - the littles are seedlings from my seed and some of the seed that people generously sent me ( thank you to all ) . The pool was an experiment to see how I could plant them communally but not in the ground - I like it, just need more drainage holes for winter. and WHEELS - those things are super heavy when filled with water.
